The problem
Universities needed automated, role-based access for grading. Mapping every assessment to course and programme learning outcomes was done by hand in spreadsheets — slow, error-prone and hard to audit at accreditation time.
The solution
A Django REST Framework API backed by PostgreSQL, with role-based permissions for administrators, faculty and students. Outcome attainment is calculated automatically from assessment results, and the system is deployed on AWS EC2 with an RDS database.
